Hello out there!

I certainly have had a relaxing extended weekend! I thank and salute the veterans that have, or are serving our country. (The time off isn’t so bad either) :p

Well, there’s really not too much going on in my life as of now, which really isnt such a bad thing considering I always feel like I’m on the go go go. I’m sure some of you know that feeling. It’s nice to have a break every now and then.

My dad’s birthday is this upcoming Thursday, I love birthdays! I’m wondering what I should get him….hmm…he does love golfing stuff. What else do dad’s like?

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving break, it’s the week after next for us! My sister, friend and I are heading up to Prescott, Arizona for a little getaway…I am super excited! We want to go hiking in Sedona, which is about an hour or s0 away. I remember it being beautiful when we passed through it a few years ago. :D I absolutely have to remember my camera!! Pictures are a must for sure haha. Are any of you going on any adventures?

Well I better be going, the laundry is calling my name. Yay! (a sarcastic yay, that is…)

Halloween Weekend

Hello!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves over the weekend! I had an eventful one, my friends and I went to a Halloween party on Saturday and then we got dressed up on Sunday for a BBQ and then we cruised downtown to see what was goin on. We ended up at this diner off PCH, they have the BEST shakes & malts ever. Haha all the employees loved that we came in our costumes. I’ll post some pics, they’re silly but that’s what dressing up is all about! Did you guys do anything fun?? Trick or treat and get some candy? yum! I couldn’t resist, I had a baby snickers. :D

On a random note, I’ve been meaning to bring up some more CP related stuff… do any of you have trouble balancing right when you get out of bed? My ankles crack like crazy and I reallly have to stretch out before I walk or else I’ll totally trip! Or maybe I’m just too tired when I get up that my balance is worse? Hmm.

Well I’m off to go work out! It is hot hot hot here…such odd weather. 90 degrees in November!? (Happy November, by the way!) Can you believe it? Feels like summer still sometimes…

Did you know…

HALLOWEEN IS ONLY A FEW DAYS AWAY??? 4 days, to be exact.

Any cool costumes? Creative pumpkin carvings? I might go to a friends pumpkin carving party this Friday!

Oh and…. how good is pumpkin candy corn? I loved what Wikipedia called them, “candy corn’s first cousin.” Cute & oh so yummy. :) It’s a good thing they come out only once a year, otherwise I might end up looking like a pumpkin. :p

I’m going to try to not eat any candy this year. Am I crazy? Maybe haha. I don’t know if I can resist Reese’s and Snickers. :p

Hope you’re having a nice evening! I’m going to check out the stock market for my Econ class. Whoever profits the most from 10k (hypothetical of course), gets $500!! I’m competitive, so this should be fun. :D

I wrote one of my college personal statements on TeenCP. My teacher and the lay reader both loved it. :) Maybe I’ll post it hmm hmm. Okay, gotta run!
