I am very well, thank you. Summer has been fun…the weather has not been very nice but I dont mind.Its nice just to be with friends and what not.
Im sure I could last a winter, i would just need some serious clothing! My sandals and hoodies wouldn’t cover it :p

Oh geez, I’m sorry that happened to you. I’ve had a similiar experience where I wrote a story when I was about 11 and I totally lost it. No actually, not a tight feeling in my toes. My toes don’t move very much. Yeah, CP does affect your face muscles, I’ve had a few facial spasms to prove it. Lol, nope, it’s a reality!

I totally get that feeling about my writing, its weird but cool to be able to look back on what was on your mind at one point. Its nice to revisit your own thoughts because most of the time they end up being forgotten. I was bummed awhile ago because i kept a few poems that i enjoyed writing on my phone, which broke….and i dont know if i can write them again I havent felt inspired yet. Yeah I just ran a lot today and I feel like my toes are really tight for some reason. Does that ever happen to you? Yeah I know what you mean, I feel it sometimes in my hand too. and even i feel like i squint with my left eye more when im out on the sun, like cp could possibly even affect my face muscles too. who knows, maybe its my imagination haha.

Oh cool, what lake? whenever we go to Michigan, the place is always right off lake michigan, which is beautiful. except the water temperature is bipolar out there sometimes with all the storms that happen! yeah i can imagine winters being more fun sometimes because of the humidity. but thats me just being picky since the weather out here is usually amazing! haha and to answer your question, no! our ‘winters’ consist of 50 degree weather for about a month or two, and by noon it gets up to about 60ish. hah anything below 50 we all die out here and have to bring out our coats and put our flip flops away. haha sometimes i wish we had four seasons of weather, but its about 60-75 all year round.

I’ve been keeping my thoughts written for over a year, looking back at it, I feel so much older. Do you get that feeling?

Well hey I’ve been there, it’s all about how focused you are. It’s like you wanna do you stretches n’ have time for other things too but it just seem to be happening.

Same here, I try n’ work my right leg moreso than the left. I wouldn’t say I don’t have CP on one certain side because both legs aren’t “normal” to a certai extent. Know what I mean?

Hmm, go to the lake and chill out at the parks for a while, just to get some fresh air. At home, my dad n’ step mom are usually busy or tired (they’re old seriously) Personally though, I go find my friends n’ just hang out for the day ’til we’re tired. The winters are better lol it’s hard sayin’ what I typically do for the summer.

Yes I write all the time! Just little thoughts of mine as well…Ive started to keep a notebook on me for the summer, I think its good to always be thinking.
I’m a bit nervous about approaching my parents about doing any sort of botox or stuff like that because I’ll just get lectured again on how I never keep up on my strecthes. Thats baddd i know! :/ Thats so good, what have you been doing for exercise? Hmm no, instead my right leg just overcompensates for my left a lot since I dont have CP on that side. When I’m in the gym I try to train just my left side so I wont be as unevenly strong.

Hmm, short stories, my thoughts, poems etc. Do you write at all? I had it after my 2nd surgery n’ that was the last time. This time I think I’ll start getting it regularly, I hear it really helps. Plus, I’ve been exercising too so, I think I’ll be good to go. Have you ever been told to your adductor (inner thigh) muscles were too strong?

I am going to read Frankenstein and Beowolf for my summer English reading. I’m pretty unfamiliar with English Lit other than Great Expectations.

Thanks, I feel a lot better! Glad to have time to finally have things slow down. Having time to think and write and read is always good though! The only vacation I am taking is to Michigan (and Chicago for a day or two in between) to see family, so it will be nice to get away for awhile. I love not having anything on my agenda aside from gym, a bit of work….and relaxation!
What do you like to write about? I had botox done when I was 10, but I didnt really see much difference because I didnt stretch as much as I shouldve after :/ I was too young to realize the benefit! Not weakness, just tightness!

I hope you feel better soon Katy! I know have been so busy, but don’t get so busy where you can’t look after yourself ’cause that’s so important. sadly, no camp or vacations for me, which really sucks. In the place of vacation I’ve been exercising, reading and writing which I love to when I’ve got time.

Yes, Good Will Hunting is great, though I haven’t watched it in a few years. Grandad also liked it.
